The Application Process in Plain English
Applying to USAOU takes most students under 30 minutes. Here is exactly what to expect.
Step 1: Choose Your Program
Browse our programs page and pick the bachelor's, master's, or PhD that matches your goals. Each program page lists its prerequisites, duration, tuition, and curriculum.
Step 2: Fill Out the Application
Click Apply Now. You will provide basic personal information, your educational background, and the program you are applying to. There is no application fee.
Step 3: Upload Your Documents
Most applicants need to upload:
- A copy of your highest-level diploma or transcript
- A government-issued ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license)
- An optional statement of purpose (1–2 paragraphs)
Step 4: Review and Decision
Our admissions team reviews each application within 5–7 business days. You will receive an email decision and, if accepted, a link to enroll and pay your first installment.
Step 5: Start Studying
Once enrolled, you receive instant access to your student portal, course materials, and a welcome session with your academic advisor. New cohorts begin every month.
